Whew! Nine Months Already!

There are little teeth in there! :)

Ella turned nine months old today! These nine months have flown by MUCH more quickly than the "nine" months of pregnancy. Ella BLESSES us each day with her beautiful smile and sweet, sweet personality. At nine months, Ella is trying to crawl, but is not having much success. Her little body can't seem to move in the "forward" position. She gets herself into a crawling position, but then scoots back, back, back. She gets pretty frustrated with herself and usually ends up underneath her dresser or crib. She is almost an entirely "formula" fed baby now. I am so THANKFUL I was able to mommy-feed for the eight months that I did. This month we have added PRUNES into her diet as well. She has had a problem with constipation, so a daily serving of prunes has helped tremendously. We were so excited this month to FINALLY see a couple of little teeth emerge from Roo's gums. The process of them emerging has NOT been very fun though. We have had to use a lot of teething gel to help with the discomfort. We were even treated to a 4am wake-up call this month from a little girl whose gums were hurting! :( Ella received her two doses of the flu shot this month as well thanks to Grammy, so hopefully the flu will stay away.

Ella's ninth month is going to be pretty EVENTFUL! She will experience her first Thanksgiving and the transition from being spoiled totally rotten by Rose Marie to being one of seven children in a classroom at her new school! Please pray for our family (especially MOMMY) because this is going to be a HARD transition for all!!!!!!!!!!!!
