To celebrate Ethan's fourth birthday, we made what very well may be our very last trip to Cleveland Park. The tragic train derailment occurred within thirty minutes into Ethan's party. I praise Jesus that all of the children from Ethan's party were safe. Ella, Ethan, and a few of his friends were playing on the middle section of the park when the tragedy occurred. I am so thankful Ella did not see it occur and that she is too young to actually understand what happened. I will NEVER forget the sights and sounds of the next moments, days, and weeks. I hate that Ethan's party was ruined. We did go back to his house for a few minutes to watch him get his new sweet puppy. Ella fell in love instantly!!
