Merry Christmas from Mommy and Daddy
From us, Carson received a special football and two outfits. Ella received a Peek-a-Boo baby and a stainless steel kitchen set.
Santa Claus Came to Our Town...
But days and hours before, the preparations began. Carson wrote Santa a letter in Mrs. Martin's class. She mailed the letter straight to the North Pole for Santa to read. In his letter, Carson asked for Legos, a 24 Carrot Medallion, and books. Santa could handle that with a little help from his elves. The elves had to make a 24 Carrot Medallion just for him. On Christmas Eve, Carson gathered several cookies and a glass of milk for Santa and placed them on the fireplace. He also put a new special key that Grammy gave him on the front door, so Santa could get into our house a little easier. Finally, he sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn and said a final goodbye to Zoby. A FEW hours later, Carson awoke to find the loot Santa left behind for Ella and him. In Ella's pile, there was a Barbie jeep, a Baby Alive baby, a baby doll bed, a sticker book, and an ICarly playset. Santa left three special books for the two to share. In Carson's pile, Santa left a racing Lego set, a lap drum set, a Nascar racing helmet, Wii Mario Brothers, a pitching machine, a bucket of balls, a pair of pajamas, a skateboard ramp with Tech decks, Guess Who, and a 24 Carrot Medallion. Before his departure, Santa enjoyed a few cookies and a sip of milk.
Christmas Eve at Grammy and Papa's House
We had a great time celebrating Christmas Eve at Grammy and Papa's house this year. We enjoyed a great dinner, and then it was time to open presents! Carson and Ella both enjoyed being little elves. this year. Sarita had the FABULOUS idea to wrap a bunch of small presents for the kids to open while everyone else opened their presents. In the past, Carson would open all of his gifts very quickly and become restless while others were opening their gifts. It took them a long time to open all of those gifts, and they did enjoy playing with each one of them. Toward the end of our time, Santa paid his yearly visit through the neighborhood on the fire engine. We had a fabulous time and were blessed with many gifts.
